Further Prime Minister wished all success for the forthcoming crucial operations of Mars Orbiter spacecraft and stated that this Mission will mark the beginning of a new glorious chapter for India in Space explorations.

Excerpts from the Prime Minister’s remarks at the meeting with ISRO Project Executives:-

“Those involved in space science research, the engineers, the scientists, they all make us feel very proud of the role that space scientists, space engineers are playing in ensuring that space technology becomes truly an instrument of national development and also our security concern to the extent that they require the support of the space program.

You are doing wonderfully well and I would like to complement and congratulate each one of you and all those who are engaged in these nation building activities.

Space has become an instrument of national development in a manner which was never envisaged some 2-3 decades ago.

That you have risen to the occasion is something which makes the nation feel very proud of your role. So my very best wishes my congratulations, you have done exceedingly well but as I often say the best is yet to come and you have my very best wishes to scale new heights.”
